ISLAND: PANAREA
WEDNESDAY
DEPARTURE: 2:00 PM – RETURN: approx. 9:30 PM
DEPARTURE PORT: Marina Corta – Lipari
After about forty-five minutes of navigation, we reach the enchanting inlet of Cala Junco, one of Panarea’s most outstanding scenic gems, characterized by its natural amphitheater of layered rock formations sloping down toward turquoise-colored waters. A first swimming stop is scheduled nearby, ideal for immersing yourself in particularly clear and evocative seas.
We then continue toward the islets of Dattilo, known for their towering rocky cliffs and the crystal-clear waters that surround them. Here, a second swimming stop is planned, perfect for admiring firsthand the colorful seabed and the rich marine life typical of this area.
Navigation proceeds in the direction of Lisca Bianca, a small islet with smooth, slender shapes, which we will slowly skirt to allow guests to appreciate the thermal waters and the phenomenon of underwater fumaroles, clearly visible thanks to bubbles and subtle color variations emerging at the surface.
The route then continues to the evocative Grotta degli Innamorati (Lovers’ Cave), an intimate and charming inlet, famous for the interplay of light and reflections created within it. Afterwards, we head toward the islet of Basiluzzo, considered the most elegant and scenic of the small archipelago facing Panarea. Here, another swimming stop is scheduled, ideal for those wishing to dive into one of the most unspoiled spots in the entire archipelago.
At the end of the stop at Basiluzzo, we make our way to the port of Panarea, where a long stop of approximately four hours is planned. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the characteristic village center, with its white houses nestled in lush vegetation, artisan boutiques, and panoramic sea views. It will also be possible to reach the beautiful Zimmari Beach, the only beach on the island made of black sand, or continue on to the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, a Bronze Age settlement overlooking the bay of Cala Junco—one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the Aeolian Islands.
Departure includes a scenic cruise along the northwestern side of the island, offering views of headlands, cliffs, and areas that are difficult to access from land. The final stop will be at the Scoglio della Pietra Nave for one last swim of the day, while waiting to admire the sunset from the sea, accompanied by an onboard aperitif, immersed in the tranquility and timeless beauty of the Aeolian archipelago.
The program may be subject to change due to adverse weather and sea conditions.
